Occasionally access to the Cathedral may be restricted due to events taking place.
Southwark Cathedral is a busy working church, regularly hosting services and events. It may be neccessary to close all or part of the Cathedral to visitors to allow for these events to take place.
The Cathedral Shop and Cathedral Cafe will remain open during these times unless stated otherwise.
Monday 8 December
Access to the main body of the Cathedral will be restricted from 12-1pm due to a carol service taking place.
Tuesday 9 December
Access to the main body of the Cathedral will be restricted from 2-4pm due to a school carol service taking place.
Thursday 11 December
Access to the main body of the Cathedral will be restricted from 12-2pm due to a carol service taking place.
Tuesday 16 December
Access to the main body of the Cathedral will be restricted from 11.45am - 1.30pm due to a carol service taking place.
